extremely sensual image... she is standing like looking her image in a mirror, or just lost for a second in her thoughts... and the image has been fixed in time and space. The top does not make her have a particular date in time, could be an old image, and her red nails increases the sensuality.

Finally the old-paper (card?) sourrounding the image like a frame gives something regal to the girl, making her a sort of queen of hearts...

complimenti Cate...;)

Dear Christina, this is such an artistic creation! It's like Mirko says; it looks like a card. The mystical colours gives the impression that it must be a tarot card which has been consultated very often. It looks old and turned yellow. I love the pose of the girl. Her face, turned away, makes me think that she don't want to know what will be in the future for her. Lovely and very creative piece of art!

Warm greetings Christina, Ada:-)

Ada, thank you so much for your comment ! :) I like your interpretation very much.

Another "reading" would be that the girl is coming out of the picture to explore the "outside", the unknown, something different from the representation she is in. And she somehow wants to detach herself from the image she is offering to the viewer, because she is slightly someone else :)

Hi Hek, glad to see the new style coming through, its very good and I like the card style, do you feel that the edge of your face could be feathered a little more? It looks like the card is old but the picture a little sharp? All in all a fantastic picture, well done Tom.

Tom, thank you for your comment, it's very encouraging to me. I have more than one version of this. I will experiment with further processing, but somehow I wanted to show the tension between the representation and the real person. But maybe you are right and I should have "blended" the "ingredients" better. Thanks again :)
