First year photographer- suggestions welcome on this and/or other

pics from this series in portfolio.

I like the high contrast style, but the jacket looks like one uniform island of black bleeding in with the back of the head. For me, it's too much black. For a fashion shot, there's no visible detail in the style or cut of the clothing.

Maybe a low powered light or reflector from below your model could bring out just a hint of the clothing's texture and lines. Just my opinion of course. Overall, the shot looks very good in my 'just learning' experience. Take care. James.
