k5083 1 Posted October 12, 2006 I am submitting this photo on behalf of Dick Kamm (1928-2006) for enjoyment and commentary by the photo.net community. For more on Dick, see here. Athough Dick is no longer around to read your comments, I hope you like his pictures and I would enjoy discussing them with you. Here, in 1949, one Lockheed F-80 ground crewman prepares to hurl a snowball at another (the photographer) on a cold, clear day in Bavaria. This is uncropped from the original 5.5x5.5cm negative. I felt there was nothing I could do that would improve this composition.August Horvath Link to comment
alex_kew 0 Posted October 12, 2006 What an amazing photographer Dick was, that he could compose a perfect shot while dodging a snowball! Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted October 13, 2006 Its really quite a shot - wether you look at it as a photographer, or as an aviation enthusiast! Either way, it has so much going for it on so many levels! I love it! Link to comment
the wingman 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I love these "off the cuff" jewels. Just beautiful composition with one of my favorite objects (airplane) included! Link to comment
