This is a stunning portrait in my estimation. It's so much a travesty for anyone to rate this photo so low. The clarity of focus is exceptional. Very well done.

tnx very much for everyones support... I'm kind a use to get 3/3 all the time . basicly I don't care , specialy I don't care for someone anonimous 3/3 without critique or explanation . that is wortless and got no meaning to me and don't bother me at all . those guys who gave 3/3 to everything by defoult most have pictures they are simphony of masterpieces then , good for them ;o) ... I'm not here for ratings so bring it on :o) .. I noticed that almost every picture got some low rates in proces ...

lets go to serious things ... question was light set-up and process...

I use bowens studio flashes . here 2 softboxes from each side a little one slightly stronger and one on the b/g ...

Post production here is very complicated . this goes to magazine cover and this is full frame so in full resolution it is 37cm high on 240 pixels/inch ...

everything is enhanced here , colors , skin lot of work with texture , levels , selective colors et. usually I do covers with mamiya rb-67 on film .. this is my first ever cover from canon 20D ... ...............

EDITION : One rating 3/3 dissapeared . probably someone who gave that to every picture and administrators erase it :o) .. thats proove my point..

Well, I also did notice about that anonimus low rates. Seconds I upload photo, I do get 3 or 4 low rates (3). That is the problem that, but also, I am not interested anymore in pts. I just upload the photo and look after one day for critiques.

This is great shot, best part is that hair and beautiful eyes. But what I am talking about, you are realy master in this kind of work. Senn

This is great work Dan, you know it, everyone else here agree and even 3 and 4 raters know it as well. The good news is that Dr. Greenspun is going to make some changes in about two month and hopefully he'll be able to do something about this nonsense.
