I have a critisism. You are a very gifted artist, especially you're manipulation craft I admire alot. I appreciate your thought and think you've put that excellently onto this image. But, the first thing I thought of when I saw this was; He got a stockimage from a merrygoround and didn't bother to colorbalance it before he put himself into it.

Is the colorcast intentional or are you bringing a sort of melancholy feeling into it by letting it be to red/purple? The latter I can understand, only I have not picked it up in work as of yet.
