alex_medeiros 0 Posted March 16, 2002 Detail is blown out in the highlights. Also, look at the details when it comes to backgrounds. I would either use something that is indistinct, use a shallow depth of field or have the background tell something about you or the person in the portrait. (Environmental portrait..). I like the clarity in the eyes though! Link to comment

friedel_rother 0 Posted March 16, 2002 The pose is nice and the shot well exposed, but I agree that you need to pay more attention to your background. It's very distracting. I have found portraits often work well against a green, outdoor setting such as a park or hedge. Just a thought. Link to comment
