Smokey Sunrise

Smoke from the resent California "Day" forest fire filled the Grand

Canyon and surrounding area with thick acrid smoke that made for for

most interesting sunrise colors.

Gary, it looked mystical...

It was almost a spiritual experieance , Really mystical. How you been doing? I haven't heard from you in a very long time.

it sure can be labeled 'dramatic' shot

last summer we had numerous forest fires too

and the fog mixed with smoke really gives 'new' atmosphere

sad but true....

You don't even want to get me started on pollution and global warming. I hate to think that dramatic photographs are the only benifit of mankinds ignorance and disrespect for nature. Thanks for the comment, Is winter on it's way yet in the far north??

yes i visit and check your photographs just to make sure you're steady hardcore among this place ;)

now i am trying to fight the net addiction so my feedback is sparse

anyway printed photographs look better than screen copies

 

at least this autumn is colder than previous

and this summer was coldest for the last several years

there's no winter still at the arctic circle in Russia

little endless rains with frost at night

still waiting for lakes to freeze

I'm pleased someone still checks to see that i'm still being true to my own values . I don't think many really care anymore , But I do and will be Mr. Purist until the end.
