This is gorgeous. I assume in the B&W you cloned out some of the background? Or was it just dark enough? I love the light against the dark and the detail is fantastic.

Good eye Shea - yes I darkened a small area in the upper right - and it's a sweet little camera - I gave it to my daughter )-;

This is the 2nd photo of yours that I haven't been able to rate.....too bad, but I assume you must want critiques only. Well, ok then... LOL This is good in color, but I think it's stunning as B&W. I have recently seen dandelions from Keith Harper and Mary Dineen that were also amazing, but this black and white version is really extraordinary. Bravo, Ken!

Its quite amazing how the BW shot gives such a different feeling to the colour one (I saw the same effect with the Grand Canyon pictures, actually). Very nice work, and i love the crispiness :)
