single photos Waiting

Please help me improve my photography by critiquing this photo. I am

trying to improve my black and white images. Thanks!

The photo has some strong points. namely, DOF, contrast and lighting. My critique would the following. The photo is lacking in sharpness, the photo is to grainy for this type of shot and you need to resize your photo to about 640x480 for better viewing on this site.

I like the the general atmosphere that the people are giving to the shot but they need to be razer sharp in this type of shot imo. I certainly hope not to discourage you in any way, as I respect all efforts and understand that photo's are a personal expression of art and everyone has different tastes.
