This baby looks too small

I like this photograph. I can't tell if it is a manipulated image or not; I suspect it is, but either way, it is a nice image.

David, the baby was 1 month premature and was small.

No trickery here. Interesting, "scary" is the last thing to

come to my mind when I see this picture.

The scary elament is that the baby is so small. I would be scared to hold such a small baby - the fragility of human life, especially when newborn.

 

I was lucky in that my own child was born huge at 10lbs so she was never small but it was still scary in that "huge responsibility" kind of way. This photo attracted me because it reminded me of that time. Its a great photo and the black background provides fantastic isolation to the subject.

 

I'm not sure my wife thought she was lucky to have a 10lb baby though ;-)
