Guest Guest Posted March 14, 2002 Nice to see something besides the normal orchid photos. Nice work. Link to comment
john_park1 0 Posted April 24, 2002 I like the ripple reflection idea. Not your normal flower photo. Link to comment
rbctvguy 0 Posted May 17, 2002 The flower looks ever-so-slightly underexposed, and the background is too busy for my liking. Is that *real* water, or is it a special effect? Without viewing the image details, my guess is that this is a composite of three images. Link to comment
rbctvguy 0 Posted May 17, 2002 I understand totally your point about not wanting to wash out the whites in this orchid. It might be my monitor, but the whites look a little dull, which led me to believe that it was slightly underexposed. And I'm certainly not attempting to belittle your effort, so I hope you don't take my comments as anything other than a constructive critique. After browsing through your folders, I would also have to say that your flowers, in my opinion, are far and away your best work. I'm just beginning to try photographing flowers, and am beginning to understand that it's not as easy as "pointing and shooting." Your flower folder is quite good indeed. Link to comment
pradeep satyaprakash 0 Posted April 23, 2003 I like this picture. It looks like that alien in Predator opening its mouth to drink for a pool of water. Almost animal-like. How did you do that water...is it an effect or is it real? Link to comment
javedrassi 3 Posted April 24, 2003 There was this big ugly pot under the flower, so I created this water effect using PS and then rippling it. Thanks for your comment. Link to comment
