I love Chinese calligraphy, including that done in Korea and Japan.

I tried my hand at it with miserable results. So I resort to the

calligraphy I find in nature.

I love concept and the design. The detail on the leaves and almost overexposure shows why digital technology is changing photography so much. This a beautiful shot keep up the good work.

I like images that are simply and create a mood in the mind. Great balance on tones and textures also. Well done and thanks for sharing.

I'm delighted this went over so well thus far. I always worry a bit when I do something simple because it seems to go against the American grain. I was taking pictures of the beautiful blue blossoms on my sky vine when I saw this part reaching out, trying to find a branch to circle. It just hit me in the face with its grace and clarity.

John, I wish you would expand on your comment on digital. I think I understand, but would like more.

David, I like the inclusion of the word 'mood.' If I've shared a mood through an image, I feel quite content.

Lauri, another comment that makes me feel good; you need say no more.

Brad and Umair, don't want to leave you out; I appreciate your thoughtful comments, come back, even when you have less pleasant things to say.

Ransford, interesting, I have a work I uploaded lately that reminded me the form of poetry which is called "HAIKU" you are probably familiar with that form of Japanese poetry, That minimalistic beautiful image reminded me again that genre. well done my friend, I hope you are well.

Yes, Pnina, this really should have real calligraphy flowing down the right side, something like this:

Blind vine

Searching vainly,

Plan B:

Blossoms, bees, seeds

Admittedly, this does not have the requisite number of syllables, but I fear Haiku in English often seems a bit of an affectation.

Ransford, I'm not looking for an exact parallele to " Haiku" I think that poetry is best read in the language it was written, but I speak of the spirit it broadcast in a transition from the poetry medium to the Photographic one.

I like your first version that you wrote it, sounds Haiku style, and again I don't mind if it is not according to the exact rules , if it has the spirit and it has!

here

that is the one , what do you think?
