aleksandra1 0 Posted October 17, 2006 I like the red here but because... "I personally feel the red touch cheapens a lot a picture with great light and great objects. And I'm curious to see what other people would think of a pure b&w version of this picture..." I did it b&w version for you Rakesh. I hope you don't mind. I think the red one is better. It should be tonned down little bit maybe but the extra colour gives the expretion to this image. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted October 17, 2006 If I may, and since the b&w is already posted, let's be fair to the b&w and give it a little more contrast, and let's get rid of the framing, which only made sense with the red line matching the red pot. This would be the result I had on my mind, and which I find really awesome... Your composition and light were really outstanding here, congrats. Best regards. Link to comment

aleksandra1 0 Posted October 17, 2006 Marc, your b & w version is better from main but I didn't want to change much. I always feel uncomfortable working with not main images. Rakesh, I still love your original image and rating and comments you got show it is a great image. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted October 18, 2006 "I have lot many all blacks to post for you!" Great news... Black subjects on black backgrounds are something I tend to like very much, since the light is what makes all the subtle differences in such cases, and your lighting skills are good, as evidenced here. jay_patel 0 Posted December 8, 2006 All your photographs show excellent control over the light, solid composition and good sense of colors. This one is no exception. Keep up the good work. -Jay Link to comment
