Interesting photo. What I don't like: Technically this is not good. There are many hot spots. I also think that it would be better if the subjects were not centered, but that may be just personal opinion. Your technical skills will improve with time. (I hope mine will as well!) What I do like: The emotion that you have captured here. You are right, it's in her eyes. But it is also in the dogs face and posture. He seems like his life is very hard and he's trying to find a moments peace in her arms. The toy adds to the scene as well. It's as if she has left her world of fun to help this pup. The look on her face says that she can't believe how cruel the world can be. Over all, I like this. Strong emotion captured by you. Sorry this was so long but I thought I'd explain my rating.
