tc_reed 0 Posted October 3, 2006 zues and apollo locked in battle? i'm not sure as to what i'm looking upon. is this a struggle? is this brotherhood? is this a dance of life? the lighting is great. the balance is good symetrically speaking. i'm not feeling a story. i'm not feeling any emotion at all. i'm sorry? atkphotoworks 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I'm just having a great laugh. Their lack of affect probably comes from the ackwardness of the moment. Link to comment
the green fairy 0 Posted October 5, 2006 looks more like an awkward dance than wrestling. Don't know if I care for the square format for this type of image either. Maybe if you were in closer & the models were more engaged. Link to comment
thomas aagaard 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Without doubt one of the funniest photos, among nudes in specific, actually among all in here in general. Great ide, makes any technical discussions about light, crop etc irrelevant. To me the square format makes sense though. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 6, 2006 An interesting idea that is intruded upon by the watches they are wearing. Link to comment
martydekkers 0 Posted October 6, 2006 EXCELLENT!!! I really like this, especially because it's nothing I have ever seen before! Technique is flawless, and models are great! They don't seem to actually wrestle as much as they are getting started to wrestle, and that's the best point in time to take a photo. It's fun to see not-so-perfect bodies, and it's beautiful! The watches do affect the composition negatively, and I would have left them out, that's all that I can complain about. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted October 6, 2006 To me, this portrays man wrestling with time. I would have liked to have seen the men making eye contact though. Love the originality! -Anthony Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted August 12, 2009 A very original nude image with a message of age, time , struggle and more. Well done. Warm regards. Link to comment
