ZuikoD 0 Posted October 4, 2006 Ah Mel...literal beauty. PEACE, attainable peace. I love the fact that her legs are almost at the same angle as the peace sign. peace Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted October 4, 2006 As I invited you to see this, shy of making a dedication to you, to share in the Peace which you so generously give in your writings here on PN. From Paz to Peace and back again . . . Ciao. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 6, 2006 Hi Mel, nice meeting you, I have been a little bit through your portfolio, and reading your bio after you did leave a message on my picture picking, it is hard to follow, but I have a 'little' look inside your world....but it would take a lot off clicks to see it all, so I keep it with this pictures. And it is a nice 'centered' picture, and 'specialists' in photography told me that you canNOT centre things hahahahahaha, something about third rule..... and I don't care that much about it...... and espcially not with this sign of peace, it HAS to be in the centre, and like David did say, about the angle off the feet.... ahhhhh everything is coming to pieces or should I say peaces with love Els Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted October 6, 2006 "Els" are letters in my grandmother's name and my middle name! so I like them to start! Am glad you appreciate this Sign of Peace! and her stance, especially...now imagine this as a magic peace sign, and when she walked past it, it became part of her! - - Okay, I know there is a lot on my posting page! If you have time . . . cheers! Link to comment

meli d 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Just wanted to write that I donated this print, framed, for my son's school fundraiser this last weekend, and a friend won it, and there were a few who bid on it, for $27! Many recognized and appreciated the photo since it is from the neighborhood. I learned that the residents put the peace sign on the fence after having troubles with graffiti they had to keep painting over. Peace and Cheers! Link to comment
