plz. give me any thoughts on how I could improve this photo? Thanks!

Seems a bit blurry - might be the scan, or the original (used a tripod?). Would be good to have something interesting added to the frame, a couple walking on the beach, a bird flying, a boat or something. As it is, it is a nice shot, but just too plain.

moving the sun off of the center of the picture would make for more interesting composition. Also a tripod would imporve sharpness.

well the colors are coming very nicely....but as stated above...the shutter speed must be high so there was some blurring...but many time a slight blurring won't affect the photograph much....the composition matter a lot too...as the sun is in centre and there's nothing else to add life in this picture so this photo is not able to capture the attention....though I'm also a amature but some how I feel that the picture is empty.....a tree, plant, humen or just the reflection in the water or may be some thing in forground.....any way nice attempt....keep it up....best of luck
