Great images!!!!

Here's another one from this lovely series, which I don't recall seeing before...? I can't really tell much about this strange background - because I don't see much of it, but what I can say is that the main subject is wonderfully poetic for me. And the horse's skin and muscles are a real pleasure to look at. So I'm sure you could probably find a way to improve the background a little, but you'd know how, and my main message is this: it's well worth it, this picture really has a soul ! Cheers.

PS: I like the other pictures in the thread as well - less poetic but very nice too. I particularly like the running horse, but wish the feet were included in the frame. Cheers.

I think that too much input can lead to bad results. I like the original, it has subtlety and grace in the deliver, that matches that of the show horse and trainer. The second version appears too overworked. The background of the original nicely isolates the subjects and adds a hint of texture and detail make it interesting but not distracting. Not sure I can say the same for the second version...

I think these are great images especially the top one.  I like the overlay, ,which I'm usually not so much a fan of that type of  image prep. But it looks very nice here
