Hi, I'm sorry you don't like the colours - apart from the darkened sky and levels this is how it looked in the field. Green stained urchins and summer lichens - I could do with a better wide lens though.

The rest of my photos are full of colour too. As an enthusiastic traveller I did enjoy your portfolio. I've stayed in Chowringee travelling through WB to Nepal and Thailand and those images I took were bursting with colour. You won't like those either :)

Different people like different things. 3/3 is fine with me so long as it is qualified. Judging by the feel of your portfolio I rather think your low mark is more as a reaction to my 'Hey, 3/3' comment above than a genuine criticism of the photo.

We'll let subsequent viewers look at the points I've made and decide for themselves. Is that the sound of a Gauntlet thrown down?

This is a great shot, the composition is spot on and the colours are beautifull. this appears natural to me showing the true beauty of the natural world.
