pnital 36 Posted October 3, 2006 Very good portrait in B/W. is it converted from a colored image?( Please can you give some information?) The diagonal line above his head is a bit a competition for attention. I wonder about the circumstances it was taken, because of his gaze that transmits suspition? some anger of the photographer? I like that image. Link to comment
frank_melchior 0 Posted October 3, 2006 John is a co-worker of mine, I've wanted to take his portrait for months, I find him a very interesting looking model. He let me shoot for an hour and a half, I took over 120 shots as he gave me so many different looks. I caught him laughing, crying, and serious as in this shot. It was the most rewarding photo shoot I've done in a long time. I rewarded John with a nice print today. Yes, it was converted from color. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted October 3, 2006 Frank, thanks for the information, seeing this portrait and your story, I hope you will upload more of him, looks like he can be a theatre actor, he is so convincing!( well the photographer is needed here as well ;-)) I will follow and look at your portfolio more closely, thanks again.
