The little two mushroms towards the bottom, with the Chinese hats, are showing character in a peaceful and intimate moment! Maybe a closr capture of them two would have aslo been interesting, fine shot Cherlyn.

Nice title! I like the muted colour and fine detail. I once had one of these grow right next to the gear lever in an old car of mine. (The floor leaked alarmingly)

For a moment my mind was in the gutter and this appeared to be the open mouth of a hippopotamus with three formidable pieces of enamel. Am I losing my mind? You may say that one cannot lose what one never had - right? My friend, I love your superb composition with elegant use of perfect focusing, shallow depth of field and creative imagination to see the lone mushroom on the right admiring a member of the lovely couple on the left who are in a wonderful embrace. it is applaudable how you get an interesting picture of such 'simple things', that are very nice in nature, but not easy to catch, if you don't want a 'flat' photograph, dear Cherlyn

I like the kind of composition and colors. also the DOF on the bottom right. well done Cher.

What imagination created by looking at a lovely "mushroom couple". This shows that the photographer creates the image and the camera just captures it. Good photos donot have to be always technically perfect and 100% sharp, isn't it ?.

A great photo, love the mushrooms and also like the tree as background. It gives me an autumfeeling. Nice background behind the tree.

Nice title, imaginative and original. And interesting textures, nice colors. The shallow DOF is more a plus than a drawback in this case, IMO

I love it, great crop, you could almost do a series, the two together remind me of a young couple snuggling!
