lalit 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Smith's Rock canyon state park is a really wonderful area. Rugged and picturesque too! You will find many rock climbers training or challenging themselves, hikers enjoying the walk and scenery, and some photographers. I reached this place about 10:30 AM. It was a spring day full of thunderstorms around this area. I took few shots, however the lighting was too flat due to the cloudy waether. I was getting ready to leave south to Crater Lake area, when I noticed the windows in the clouds and light reaching the walls of the canyon. I grabbed the camera back and shot this picture. This area could be very good in the early morning. Composing near the water may be good idea too, to get the early morning glow. Link to comment
lightwait 0 Posted October 3, 2006 Lalit, nice shot for so late in the morning. Also thanks for sharing your commentary. I think you are right about early morning on the river. I shot here at sunset with a little success but I was not on or near the water. Link to comment
