daily_photograph 0 Posted September 27, 2006 skyscapers? Noble expression. Nice the mix of stone, green and sky. Even the scaffold fits... Link to comment
rippo 0 Posted September 27, 2006 the thumbnail looked as though this was some science fiction 3D modeling of a city or something, and i was prepared to see something looking very synthy. i was pleasantly surprised to find it's a cathedral under construction! great shot, great perspective, wouldn't change a thing. well ok one thing. the clouds in the sky seem a little overexposed. but it's a great shot! colin carron 58,916 Posted September 27, 2006 Alexandra, I get a strong feeling of the size and weight of this cathedral. The tree and the scaffolding add scale and the perspective is stronng and dynamic - very good! Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted September 28, 2006 I try to give 7 but you know, PN restrictions, so 6/6 for PN. A very well exposed shot with just the right amount of light & dark shadows. Didn't know that constuctions can be beautiful & you have shown it to me. I think the blue sky helps a lot to make this picture beautiful. Well done, Alix. Link to comment
hanna_v 0 Posted September 28, 2006 pretty blue sky, surrounded by an impressive building - I think it's a well chosen part of the building you show us: a part from the well balanced four main colors, the 'construction' looks a bit like an organ with its small and big pipes, arranged in a certain way... so the picture gets his own dynamic! Remember Hanna,You photographed the ludwig museum, i was looking around there for your motifs. But i choose than that part from the cologn Dom. Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted September 30, 2006 A very original and successfull photo of this popular cathedral. I love all those lines pointing towards the sky, and you were lucky (or waiting patiently ?) with the bright sky area, as vanishing point. Well exposed and composed Link to comment
