nicolasbryant 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I know Maciek is a expert, but I find this panorama very well done too (maybe he is relating to the sky which doesn't seem too natural?). You both have hooked me on a new kind of pictures I hope I will soon be able to attend. Link to comment
mplonsky 0 Posted September 29, 2006 It has to be viewed in the large view. I don't see anything "wrong" about it. Looks just awesome to me. Thanx for sharing. Link to comment
peter_houtmeyers 0 Posted September 29, 2006 If this is the wrong way of using HDR.....i reaally want to use hdr the wrong way all the time! This must have taken you a lot of time to get i right.Best HDR i have seen on this site so far. Question; Do you use tone mapping on the separate images first and than stitch them into a panorama? Or do you first make a few panorama's in different exposures , and later on combine all panorama's in the tone mapping? Link to comment
bryanwaddington 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Something very strange here .. I'm reluctant to say 'something very wrong' because I don't know what was in the photographers mind and the reasons for creating such an image ... but it just doesn't look right to me. A bright setting sun and no darker areas, everything is a similar brightness. An excellent setting for a good panaoramic but very odd post processing in my opinion, very artificial .. maybe that was the intentional. Link to comment
jon thornton 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Great use of the 10.5 and great use of HDR. Did you use Photomatix to do the tone mapping? Link to comment
