This is a very moving photo as it is. Excellent work. My only thought is this: would a different composition that showed more of the surroundings have indicated to the viewer that the child was crying for food? Your notes tell us what was happening, but the picture doesn't. It could have been taken under a number of other circumstances--such as child labor, or begging on the street. None of this means that the photo, as is, isn't quite moving--it is. This is just a thought about the message being portrayed. Still, I find it worthy of a 7/7.
