nancy_h._brown 0 Posted March 31, 2002 A beautiful tree with the flowers on the tree and on the ground tying upper and lower parts of the photo together. Beautiful light and exposure. Link to comment
cakeller98 0 Posted October 25, 2002 ...this kind of light. Such a great color scheme. I don't know if it was on purpose, but you have a nice complimentary color scheme (blue/orange, with a hint of green) very nicely done. The composition isn't very original... subject dead center, but... just because it's not original doesn't make it bad. just curious... what's the dark thing hanging down on the lower right (bird's nest?, or maybe fallen leaves that haven't completely fallen?, I'm really curious) Link to comment
abaybas 0 Posted March 13, 2003 I would have given 7 for A, but I would realy like to see the tree centered. i realy like the contrast in color. what i like most though is the lighting on the tree. how did you manage to get orange sunlight(?) on the tree when the sky is all blue-grey. i'm guessing it was good timing? good work. havanai 0 Posted November 10, 2003 I spotted this tree on a hillside and realized that the setting sun would shine on it, unobstructed. The next evening, I chose my position and set up my tripod and waited for the sun to hit the horizon behind me. The eastern sky behind the tree had a few clouds, which added some interest.
