War

This is a bench in Siem Reap, in the landmine museum, this place is

plenty of mines, bombs from the wars that this countries suffered,

as you can see the bench is over two bombs and mines, and well a

child without legs left the cruches over the bench, this is the

effect of war, empty benches.

I'm sure this museum must be a very powerful place for people visiting. I think the challenge is portraying that in a photo- a difficult task indeed! When you explained what this photo was about, it was only then I understood. So in other words, w/o the caption this picture is difficult to grasp. That's the problem. I think the best pictures are able to tell the story without any words. The old adage is, "A picture says 1,000 words."
