Guest Guest Posted September 25, 2006 In this shot I see the suffering men left behind as the dead climb to freedom. This person seems to be clinging to life hiding from inevitable death. I like how you composed the shot of both aspects of the memorial. It thus tells a story so vivid. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see more. Link to comment
fcalvo 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Thanks again Deidre, more coments from Kenneth Treister the sculptor: The first sculpture is of a mother and two nestling children fearful as the signs of the Holocaust first appear. Their faces ask... "can it happen?" . . . "will God forsake us? The sculpture is framed by Anne Frank's message"... that in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart."
