Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 29, 2006 Super shot, Amal. Beautifully balanced with soft colors and warm shadows. I love the fact that the mother is looking up at something behind you while the baby is looking directly at the strange old gentleman with the camera. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted September 29, 2006 Many thanks for your viewing and feedback. Jack, she is not the mother of the child. She is her elder sister.Otherwise, I agree entirely with you. Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 279 Posted July 29, 2007 I never worked with other people, never did much of the "exchange of knowledge and experience" stuff, but I was once in some club and remember that the members called this kind of photos "life"! Now, I can't find that category even mentioned by any of the members of the Photo.net! There is a category "street", but are there streets at all in the place where this picture was taken?! So I will stick to the most suitable "life" and say it is a good "life" photo! Very good indeed! PDE Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted July 30, 2007 If you so please, call it "Life Photography",which sounds better than 'street photography'.Yes,there is no street in the hills, where this image was shot. Many thanks for viewing my images and offer valuable comments,Pierre.I am honored by your visit and encouraged by your interest in my photographs.
