For September 24 ~ My birthday ~ This was shot long ago at a hockey game, and I saw the

score (the year I was born) and the time approaching my birthday, and am glad I got the shot.

Happy Birthday Mel! and you got it in a sign too! elisabeth ;) PS were you at Culver Ice Rink on Sepulveda or in El Segundo? I spent too many hours at Culver.

Great to see your comment first thing ~ how funny! and it could have been Culver! I'll look at the walls next time and see if they match ~ I wish I could remember exactly! I have had the photo a long time!! Were you a skater, or took your grandson, or son?

I did skate there in my "younger" days (the 70's were great) and then my son did a lot of power hockey at Culver in the early 90's before he did Veledrome Bike racing. Spent a lot of time then at the Olymipic Veledrome at Cal State Dominguez ( go Toro's my alma mater) which has been torn down and been replaced with the Home Depot Soccer stadium. Ah the cycle of life! Again, happy birthday and I hope your day is everything you want it to be! elisabeth

I love that it is in Italian for me, has an M in it, all the lettering and texture, and the shape of the '24'! the -42- is really clever, agreed? I love the lamps over head, and appreciate that you kept them in frame.
