donnaalbers 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Cherlyn, you have integrated the dragonfly with the background very nicely. . I like the complement of gold against the soft green. . and with Pnina's sharpening, it's just right. . . Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted September 26, 2006 Thanks Pnina, for your time. Always good to have a alternative view & of course, a improvement to the pic. That's how one learns & progress, so of course I don't mind :-) Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 26, 2006 What a great shot Cherlyn. I know how hard it is to capture a dragonfly. They are so restless. I've never seen such a beautiful golden specimen before. He stands out beautiful against the blurred backgrond. Very well done! Many greetings Cherlyn, Ada:-) Link to comment
dasharv 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Oh Cherlyn! This is so nice! I tried to shot one dragonfly this weekend and wasn't sucessiful, so I know how hard is making one shot like this! Very nice bg and I love this green, which contrast with gold of the dragonfly:) Keep sharing, dear friend! Link to comment

pturton 10 Posted September 28, 2006 Cherlyn, Another fine example of your skills and artist's talents. I'm a bit jealous of your subject - since our regional government, about 5 years ago, started dumping "treated" human sewage into the flood plain of the creek that flows through my property, I seldom see dragonflies but there is an increase in mosquitoes. Prior to this dumping, damsels and dragons were in abundance. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Good DOF and lighting - dragonfly pops away from the busy background. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Yes, it sure looks similar to Spencer's dragonfly. Coincidental? Link to comment
beng 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Good capture !. You got the dragon fly quite sharp !, not an easy task. Congrats. Link to comment
