Not bad at all if these are your first forays into mushroom photography; your technique is good. Just a hint though; when doing these kind of shots, pay attention to loose twigs and leaves like the one diagonally across the frame. If you remove these before tripping the shutter, the image would be even better. That aside, a well executed picture!

this photo is indeed my first step into the world of mushroom photography and even one my first steps in photography at all.

You know from the begining I started to remove leaves, parts of plants that where not my object for the photo, but than I stopped whith the thought: wait a minnute, what am I doing? I'm destroing all the naturalness of this scene, taking away what these mushrooms live whith.

But I think in this case whith diagonal twing you're right...other way I think the twing line points at the mushroom group... anyway thanks for critique and I would like to show some more photoes from this series.
