sydney Archibald at Night

With the sun setting so early this time of year, I've been

experimenting with shooting night shots. I would never have dared try

this with a film camera. I was happy with how it came out. I look

forward to hearing what others think.

Well composed and nice motion blur in water and trees, but I think it should be about an f-stop darker.

Hmm, well it was shot with camera raw so I can certainly bring it down a stop. Here you go. How's that?

The darker version looks better. Well seen and composed shot.

However, I think it would help to have more contrast and sharpness.

I'm just getting my feet wet with camera raw. And I had disabled sharpening. Here is a 35% sharpened image with Higher contrast. Better?
