The 'Birder'

Actually, what I wrote about Carl Albert YOU may have seen to be uncomplimentary, but in fact, he was quite taken, according to my source, that a man of his political notoriety could bar-hop among the topless nightclubs of San Francisco's famous Broadway nightclub district almost without recognition.

But my source, the son of the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, named above, who accompanied him, also said that one 'barker' in front of a topless club called out to him (paraphrased) 'Hey, you're Carl Albert -- Carl come on in!!!)

His constituents probably would have hung poor Carl for having a 'man's night out' among the heathen princesses of San Francisco's nightclub trade -- not me for writing what I believe to be the truth (having learned it much earlier in my life and it's never been retracted or contradicted by my source or even suggested it was exaggerated.)

Even politicians are 'ordinary people' with personal foibles however much they would like us to think otherwise because 'foibles' often are intolerable to constituencies -- especially in such grass-roots places as Oklahoma.
