arash khoshghadam 0 Posted December 10, 2006 Your shot is a low-key one and the back-lit has enhanced the contrast making the flower the point of interest. The color is that of complementary scheme which can further improve the focus on the flower. There is one drawback though. you have centered the flower. That isn't easy on the viewer's eyes. there are golden means that create focus. I suggest a crop in which I have applied the rule of the third and manipulated the curve to bring out some colors out of the shadows. My crop leaves out much of the blackened area in front of the flower since it does nothing thoenhance the composition. Link to comment
