pnital 36 Posted September 23, 2006 Lou Ann, I'm with Baldur, my favorite compositionwise is the" a little bit wider " version, as it shows beautifuly the bridge, and clouds dispersion is very nice. I like the way you have presented the different angles of it, gives a nice perspective all around the bridge. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Lou Ann, brings back memories of my Boston days. Well composed and presented. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted September 23, 2006 I like all of your versions but it's between the original post and the vertical for me. I really like all the graphic compositions that the lines create. These are the kind of abstracts I enjoy. Interesting framing too. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted September 24, 2006 I find the original upload holds my attention more as I can see the detail. That could just be professional interest in how the cable stays are anchored but the repeated lines and the great light all help to make this a fascinating shot. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Hi Lou Ann, this is a great shot! Good perspective and very strong and bold composition. I think this brings out the mathematician in you. I've driven over this bridge and love seeing your viewpoint. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted September 24, 2006 The mathematician in me ....... will probably always be obvious, huh? :-) Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Beautiful, Lou Ann. It reminds me a little of Normandy Bridge, near Le Havre. Here's a picture attachment for you. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Laurent - you're SO right - at first glance (before I read your comment) I thought it WAS the same bridge. Interesting.... Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 17, 2008 This is a very nice abstract. While I like the look of the bridge as a whole, I think it is more interesting when seen up close like this. Well done. Link to comment
