paulfisher 0 Posted March 10, 2002 As always a very pleasant scene, but this time spoiled by the very deep shadows in the cleft in the foreground. I think they are too black and take up too much of the image area. Bit of a shame - would have been a nice pic otherwise. Link to comment
mike l 0 Posted March 10, 2002 I disagree with Pauls comment, I think the dark shadow in the foreground adds a sense of mood and purpose to the image and complements the cloudscape, which is well captured. Mike Link to comment
derris 0 Posted March 11, 2002 a brillent Phil Morris shot....as always a very balanced composition and very rich contrast....very consistent and have great sence of framing..... Link to comment
ron_karpel 0 Posted March 13, 2002 Great. Maybe an Graduated ND filter would have helped to darken the sky. Link to comment
anand_dhupkar 0 Posted April 2, 2002 I mentioned on my earlier comments about composition, and exposure, however, here, I must make it very clear, you have very good knack of exposure. It is not for some pictures, it is good for all pictures, it is very consistent. What is the secret ? How you expose ? Do you bracket ? Do you have some special processing ? Good picture, this one too. Congratulations. Link to comment
