dominiquedodge 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Well, the spotty texture is certainly clearly visible. But for me the shadow of the person (PT?) needs to link in more with the texture somehow - so as to not look like an "accident". Perhaps leaning or seeming to lean on the diagonal ? As it is we dont get much of a link between the two. Maybe it's just the size of the shadow that doesnt work for me... either too big or too small. Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Sorry PT the comment I wrote was thinking that this shot was up for the Texture assignment. It does make more sense now as the shadow is litteraly on the spot(s). Still, would like it bigger and playing a more important role in the composition. Two assignments in one shot! good going PT. pt2 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Dominique - I did put it in Textures by mistake, for about 10 minutes! I think you were too quick for me. Link to comment

sully 0 Posted October 3, 2006 PT, The texture of the subject could work as an abstract. I don't think the shadow adds anything to the shot. It is not interesting enough to hold our attention or to tell some sort of story. Link to comment
pt2 0 Posted October 3, 2006 Thanks Dominique & Michael - I must admit I quite like it though agree that this particular shadow isn ot so interesting. If I had someone with me at the time it may have given options for the shadow been cast. I am grateful to hear your feedback. Link to comment
