uneboite 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Well there's a lot of textures here. The type almost everybody has some sorts of memories about... I like this simple yet efficient picture with its soft light and diagonal composition that makes your eyes scan it from lower left to upper right. It always has a name, what's hers? : ) Link to comment
patrick flynn 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Love the warm feeling you get when looking at your photo. Many textures too. The only real critique I have for this is: the background being brighter than your subject is disctracting from the textures in your photo and it draws your eye to the left away from your subject. pt2 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Thank you, Joe and Patrick. Joe, you can call her whatever you fancy :-) Patrick, right after I posted, I too felt that area was a bit too white (because I had done some curves on it) I had to rush somewhere and didn't have time to work on it, now I have reworked just the background to make it warmer and match the feel of the subject (for the lack of a more warmer bg). Usually I post the reworked ver. here but, since it was intended to be that way I have replaced the original itself. Pl. refresh your browser. Here is the one with whiter bg if anyone is curious. megansteen 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Definately texture! I really like the diagonal composition. Good job focusing, it seems like for the most part she is totally in focus. I don't mind the white background because it is not blown-out white. Great theme fit! Megan Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Great colours as others have said. Comp fine too. I'd like the eyes and hair to be the sharpest. But what I'd love most of all is to see a kid's arms around this :) Sweet. Link to comment
