pjmeade 12 Posted September 16, 2006 Hello Justin, welcome to PN. This has the making of a good image, but it isn't there yet. The crushed flower on the bear floor is a good theme, it's very poignant, but the top of the image lets it down. The simple composition is very good, but the visual clutter at the top of the image breaks the simplicity. You may be able to crop out the top to give a more pleasing image. Just a little tip as you describe yourself as a beginner. It's important to assess your image in the viewfinder/LCD before taking the shot; to ask yourself does this adequately represent what I see and feel? It's a question Ansel Adams asked of himself. Best wishes. Pete Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted September 16, 2006 Justin, this probably isn't the best crop, there is a little too much space in the bottom of the picture, but this is the kind of crop I thought may improve your image. Best wishes. Peter Link to comment
