lonebearimages 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Jon, this is a very good photograph! I love the contrast of the sea grass against the granite boulders and cobbles. Your composition is wonderful, the light is great, depth-of-field is superb, and the sky is perfect. My only thought is that you consider straightening the horizon. To my eye, and I may be wrong, it seems a little off-kilter. This is a very good image, Jon, congratulations. Best Regards, Chris Link to comment
jesus_ayala 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Horizon doesn't bother me. What is bothering me is that is so good. Link to comment

nathan_ross 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Jon, this is a wonderful coastal shot. Congrats. The only suggestion I would make is to use a hard-grad ND which stops basically at the horizon line, as there is evidence of the ND in the rocks towards the top of the image. As a photographer, it's pretty easy for me to see. Sorry. Link to comment
philip_alvarez 0 Posted February 4, 2007 Hi Jon, I love your image just as it is, especially how th colors in the sunset are picked up by the rocks in the foreground. While I was staring at it, I wondered if you'd consider an alterntive version in which the blue stone in the very center appeared lighter than the surrounding rocks. As it is, that stone seems unique or special in some way, and a little additional light would make it more obvious. Of course, this would be an entirely different image, and it's beautiful now. Best regards, Phil Link to comment
