dchatter 0 Posted September 12, 2006 This was shot at Urbana Farmers Market on 09th Sept, 2006, late morning. The only manipulations are a little cropping from the left and a little toning. All your critiques are welcome. Link to comment
street photography karina 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Brilliant lady and great contrast with the sales person :) And like your previous b&w uploads, it could use deeper tones and higher contrast. Link to comment
street photography karina 0 Posted September 12, 2006 I see this picture is critique only. I didn't know this was possible. Where do you put this when uploading? Thanks! Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Hi neighbour! Lady optima forma. Soft tones fitting with her character.. Lovely shot Debasish! Link to comment
dchatter 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Karina, there should be a little check box stating a ``Critique Only'' option right on the page which you need to complete while requesting a critique for a picture. Regarding the contrast: I tried, but I think I lose details on the shoulder of the salesgirl, and also perhaps on the lady's face; regarding deeper tones: do you think caucasian skin tones are deeper than this? Olaf, I'm glad you like it. Best regards to both of you. Link to comment
street photography karina 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Thanks. About the tones. I guess it depends on what you are used to. I always increase the contrast with my b&w pictures. Not always the whole image, mostly only those areas that are a bit flat. Link to comment
