jmonzani 0 Posted September 11, 2006 I usually don't do much landscapes... 1:30 am, I had just celebrated the wedding of a friend, in Artimino, Italy. When walking back, I noticed this wonderful fog. I was quite lucky, indeed. No photomanipulation. Link to comment
kuzzy 0 Posted September 11, 2006 I really love this shot. it is a shame that the poles and wires are there. So often they are in the way but there is not much you can do about it. great job. Link to comment
lyle carroll 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Wonderful colours. Nothing like a bit of fog to set a great mood. Well spotted. Lyle Link to comment

a. tullar 0 Posted September 12, 2006 I have to disagree with the comment made earlier about the light poles interfering with the picture. I feel like it adds to the mood of the photo. Great job though, the lighting could not have been better. Link to comment
melissia 0 Posted September 12, 2006 What a lovely shot! At what setting did you shoot this? As far as removing hte light posts, it can be done with photoshop very easily. Maybe crop it from the left a bit. How lucky you are to have had the opportunity to not only visit this location but also to have captured this moment at this location. Bravo to you! Link to comment
jmonzani 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Thank you for your feedback! When I'm on holidays I like to travel light and thus just carried a Canon Digital Rebel with me. Shot with a 50mm f1.8 at f3.2, time: 3.2s As for the poles, I could remove them with Photoshop but for some reason, I like to keep this image untouched :) Link to comment
eduard_vulcan 0 Posted September 12, 2006 I really like the "suspended" feeling the mist conveys. Very nice landscape. Congratulations Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 14, 2006 Very appealing shot Jean-Sebastien. Nice composition and great exposure. I happen to think that the power lines nad poles really play an integral part the overall effect here. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 15, 2006 I'm also in agreement the poles and lines are part of this image. It makes the villa seem that much more an oasis of peace in its garden of tall pines. Great ligt, beautiful shot. Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted September 18, 2006 it's wonderful as is, it's much more Tuscany-in-our-times than many others and still very appealing. Link to comment
