I'd like to see the little bit of darkness on the bottom left hand side of this photo cropped out. But I do love the layering affect of this picture. Great job!

I just saw the Ansel Adams at 100 exhibition and you've done a fine job mimicking his surf shots. The colors, compositon and detail of this shot are excellent.

This is a beautiful abstract composition! i even like the footprints.

 

Maybe the top left is a little dark, but really it's a great shot. Thanks for sharing

The blue-green on the bottom left part bothers a bit.

I think the frames are a distraction

I'm quite surprised by the power of the color especially when considered against the many b&w images made in this vein.

 

The blue-green shadow in the lower left and to a lesser degree, the dark water in the upper left detract from the image a bit.

unique, even if it's not my kind of image, I do see the quality.

How did you do it? From an airplane???

Very reminicent of Ansel Adams Beech shots. I like the photo very much. Perhaps the highlights of the ocean are a little burnt out.

I think that bit of darkness in the bottom left corner is simply too big to be cropped out without substantially degrading this photo. Nonetheless, the picture, which is quite good, would be even better if the shadow was not there to begin with.
