susan_larry 0 Posted March 8, 2002 I'd like to see the little bit of darkness on the bottom left hand side of this photo cropped out. But I do love the layering affect of this picture. Great job! Link to comment
mmurphy 0 Posted March 8, 2002 I just saw the Ansel Adams at 100 exhibition and you've done a fine job mimicking his surf shots. The colors, compositon and detail of this shot are excellent. Link to comment
allan engelhardt 0 Posted March 8, 2002 This is a beautiful abstract composition! i even like the footprints. Maybe the top left is a little dark, but really it's a great shot. Thanks for sharing Link to comment
bruno_therrien 0 Posted March 8, 2002 A nice colour version of an Ansel Adams shot. The blue-green on the bottom left part bothers a bit. Link to comment
monti 0 Posted March 9, 2002 I'm quite surprised by the power of the color especially when considered against the many b&w images made in this vein. The blue-green shadow in the lower left and to a lesser degree, the dark water in the upper left detract from the image a bit. Link to comment
photojoe 1 Posted March 9, 2002 unique, even if it's not my kind of image, I do see the quality. Link to comment
brucepercy 0 Posted March 9, 2002 Very reminicent of Ansel Adams Beech shots. I like the photo very much. Perhaps the highlights of the ocean are a little burnt out. Link to comment
kkeller 0 Posted March 9, 2002 Great. Love the composition. Way to work that t4. May look good in b@w also. Link to comment
vuk_vuksanovic 0 Posted March 20, 2002 Susan. I think that bit of darkness in the bottom left corner is simply too big to be cropped out without substantially degrading this photo. Nonetheless, the picture, which is quite good, would be even better if the shadow was not there to begin with. Link to comment
