I was wondering if you felt the background was too flat or does it

work with the minimal approach to the composition? Any thoughts?

i like it, though a little variety in the water would be nice. Like subtle shades of grey, dunno.

I like it - I'm kind of partial to minimilist compositions. Since the form of the grass and reflections seems to be the main point of interest, it might be stronger cropped to square format from the right. Just a thought - some might prefer the sense of space of all the calm water. Regards, Jerry

Perhaps a little colour saturation in the grass would help. I like and don't think the water is too flat. Possibly a different composition could make it stronger too.
