kirt1 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Tacklers from the Vista Panthers try to hold on to the back from the Rancho Bernardo Broncos, as he tries to hold on to the ball. Your feedback and comments are always appreciated. Link to comment
jcmellen 0 Posted September 10, 2006 Excellent shot. Grea timing, nailed exposure. I say this all the time, but its a complete shame that sports photography isn't taken seriously on this sight...so many great sports photographs that are completely underrated....this being one of them. 6/6. Well done. Link to comment
kirt1 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Martin, J.C. and Eric, I very much appreciate your positive comments. I suppose if we sports shooters want to raise our level of respect (at least as reflected in the ratings) we should rate more sports photos (perhaps anonymously) more regularly. Of course when I say "we" I really mean "me" because while I try to give helpful feedback on sports shots, I don't rate them that often. Okay, I hereby resolve to do that! Been struggling with night football lately, so if I ever get a passable shot, I'll put that up and submit it for critique. Expect it'll get hammered. :-) Link to comment
kctwain 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Sweetness...and I don't mean OJ Simpson! The subject of this photo is captured so clearly and yet is projected forward by a well-chosen DOF. Not only have your captured great football action, you have even been able to clearly photograph the eyes of the ball carrier. This lucky player should have a poster made of this shot for his bedroom wall! Very well done. Link to comment
jcmellen 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Kirt...if this is HS football...you're not alone. Would be nice if they lit highschool stadiums with something other than a few 75 watt light bulbs. Shooting my first highschool football game of the year next Friday...will be nice to get back in the swing of things with sports photography since it was my first love. Look forward to seeing more from ya...and look forward to comments and ratings as well. ;) Link to comment
