k mcaleese 0 Posted March 8, 2002 I can almost smell the salt air! Beautiful colors. Excellent composition. Link to comment
allan engelhardt 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Oh! Wow! Those colors are unreal. Look at that saturation. Great colors (if *maybe* a little OTT), and a fine, classical composition. Shame you didn't have a little native boy to put in the lower right corner. Great shot - tourist poster. Link to comment
bruno_therrien 0 Posted March 8, 2002 A nice well-balanced picture. Looks like an image out of a travel brochure except better. Link to comment
gk photography 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Nothing but gorgeous. A single foreground element on the sand might have helped (like a hat or shoe or something), but still an incredible Velvia shot. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2002 We're going for a saturation competition here! Wonderful on my wall. Link to comment
jgaulke 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Great colors, wonderful composition. I can do without the borders though. Link to comment
marlene_degrood 0 Posted March 9, 2002 A winner! Very nice composition and I really love the saturated colors. The lighting is nice and it looks like mid day sun. Another fine example of quality photography. Link to comment
monti 0 Posted March 9, 2002 Color in the sky (on a Mac) looks pushed in Photoshop and while this is a pleasing image there's too much uninteresting foreground and nothing in the photograph that really holds my interest. Link to comment
e_karp 0 Posted March 10, 2002 Very nice photo. From the number of rating you have gotten in in two days it looks like others like you work as well. Link to comment
mellimage 0 Posted March 17, 2002 And one more person saying it: Ahhhhh ... beautiful. Link to comment
rich815 0 Posted March 21, 2002 but not very original. A unique angle or different approach to this oft-seen tropical island shot would have been nice. The sky is a little too magenta-purple and you cut off the very tip of the boat on the left (any good reason?). Beautiful shot but too candy-like and loses it's flavor fast. It's nice but a couple small details and better color control would have made it even better. Link to comment
detlef 6 Posted May 4, 2002 composition and exposure are great...the feel of the exotic ( the magical green water, blue sky and the boats) has been well captured ...makes me wanna head out there right now and get away from our " so called" spring! Link to comment
