Nikon FG20 Nikkor 35-70 3,3-4,5. The sun was in front, over the waterfall, creating shadows.

I love waterfalls and this one is great. The center composition really works for me with that hose there. Also lovely detail in the roof.

I think I would have liked a faster shutter speed to freeze the water, but I'm not 100% sure.

The waterfall leading to the hut ... reversing the lead from far to near: great imagination! Can't beat this one in originality.

Where did you meter?

This was taken in 2000, so i don't remember the technical details. I have several images of the same motive,(bracketing). And found this to be the best.

Fence in the foreground is very distracting and I'm not sure what purpose the building serves. I would've focused more directly on that gorgeous waterfall, the mist and the cascades.

I think the hut makes the picture different from the hundreds of waterfall and stream shots on PN.

This is a perfect balance. Great shot.

This photo has the potential to be great - and it is very good as is. However, I agree that the fence is distracting, and if you could have recomposed in front of it, that would have been preferable.

But the hut is an essential element of this photo distinguishing this photo from most other pretty waterfall shots. However, I find the compositional balance of the waterfall and hut to be a little too centred. If it could be recomposed with a slight diagonal orientation, I think that would be preferable. Good job nonetheless.

I agree about the composition. I think it might have been nice to point the camera a bit more to the left, so the building would have been more on the right side and more of the water would have been visible.

Simply Awesome!! I like the way you compose the photo. It is a classic shot that will remain in my memory for some time.

I think this is a representative image for the natural beauty of Norway. Or am I wrong?

I have never been there but I am sure you can use the image as an advertisment for tourism in Norway. Great photo!
