kwsmith 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I'm looking for feedback on my work here. I've used various techniques to achieve a nostalgic look to digital photographs. Any comments or thoughts are much appriciated. Thanks, Kyle Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I think the technique you used achieves the nastalgic look, I like it. However, extreme shadows around her closest eye and mouth are unflattering. Don't know if that was part of the original with the light coming from back right or if you enhanced the shadows in post processing. I do think the softness with the sepia tone and slightly burned edges makes this look like an old photograph, very good! Kirk Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted September 8, 2006 It is an old-timey look, would a shadow/highlights adjustment make it clearer? Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I love it..... gives me a very nostalgic feeling... (which I like, haha) Great. Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted September 11, 2006 The highlight adjustment did not effect the aged look and caused her beauty to glow. Good work. Kirk Link to comment
