steveandruth2003 0 Posted September 8, 2006 taken in the Thar desert, India. It is pointless asking what people think, as this site has become so clique, that people only write a critique if you write a good one for them. I think photo.net needs to sort out the rating system as when you give a poor rating for a poor photo, they come straight back and give you a 2-2 or a 3-3. very annoying. there rant over Link to comment
rkyobo 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Beautiful...beautiful shot Stephen! The colors are just lovely, and the detail in the camels is excellent as well. Great work! Link to comment
ianflindt 0 Posted September 8, 2006 A powerfully evocative and atmospheric image. The compositon is special: I love the way all the figures (camels included!) face the sun, while that single figure standing to the right is an absolutely essential element. I might have been tempted to clone out that spot of flare towards the bottom of the image, but that's a mere niggle. I'm afraid most sites suffer from the disease of reciprocal voting. Unless you dispense with the concept of voting altogether, I suspect it's an unavoidable flaw. Link to comment
ha-ni-ton 0 Posted September 8, 2006 there is a well-made composition of space and your subject. the tones are warm enough. the sand loos smooth. camels and people look very relaxed. it is a comforting photo, stephen. don't be so annoyed, then. look at your photo. ;-) hani Link to comment
